Bill Shanley is a guitarist/producer who is internationally renowned as a guitarist with The Kinks, Ray Davies and many other artists including working for many years with Mary Black, Paul Brady, Gilbert O Sullivan.
His skill as a sideman was recently commented on in a Times review at the Royal Albert Hall – “Is there a finer sideman around than Bill Shanley? It’s unlikely.”
In 1999 Bill set up The Cauldron with Ciarán Byrne to nurture and develop his interest in making recordings and has since been involved in countless records as a session guitarist and in recent years taking on more consistently the producers role.
